I've always hated him. He teased me when we were younger. Hid my cell phone. I watched as a parade of mostly naked girls came through my house to spend time with the swim team co-captains, each one lasting a week at most.

EXCERPT
When I got home, there were a few bouquets of roses against my door. They all had cards in them without envelopes.
Forgive, the first one said. Me, said the second one. Call. Me. I took out my iPhone, and I called Trouble's number.
"Come over."
"Give me a few minutes."
I took all the roses out of the hallway, and I put them in water. God knew what my dorm mates thought. I didn't bother shaving so close today. Either it would happen or it wouldn't. I had more acceptance and openness to whatever happened. I braided my hair back, and I put on a simple pink dress. It made me feel fresh and pretty.
I walked across the street into Trouble's apartment, and his roommates were gone again.
"Did you bribe --?"
This time, Trouble didn't bother with the romance. He kissed me hard at the door, taking my breath away, and he picked me up. I wrapped my arms around him, and he held me to his body. His eyes were blazing with desire, and he took off my dress with no finesse at all.

I really liked this book. I loved the way Trouble romanced Laila, even though he knew he could have had her spending the night again in his bed on their first date, but this time doing more than sleeping. He chose to do the romancing first. It is a wonderful story of loving for a long time, that finally can happen when the two are away from the rest of the family at college. What about overprotective older brother, Chris, who happens to be Trouble's best friend? Will he be able to accept this relationship? You will want to keep reading to find out.Product details

WOW loved it great read.
Waste of time and money. Characters way too immature. I do not recommend this book.
This book was interesting and sweet and very sensual. I would love to see what's happening with Laila and Trouble now. They are a very cute couple.
Nothing like a good love story that had a person loving the person for many years! 😍 Need another sequel!
The author basically just rushed through the story. Not a lot of character development. There are so many better young adult books out there. It is not my intention to be mean but it was just not that good.
This was a great book. I love a great love story. Trouble was in love with Laila for many years. Chris is Laila's brother that is protective of his sister. I don't want to say to much but I couldn't put it down. I received a copy of this story in exchange for an honest review.
4.00 stars. The story of Trouble McKane and Laila King was a well written delightful romantic story. The two had close ties from early childhood, he and her over protective brother were best friends and between the two the shielded her from any male interaction as they sowed their 'wild oats'. It was not until their college years that Trouble and Laila let their feelings be known and started dating, upon graduation, they marry.
